Golf in Biarritz is world class golf, the wether is perfect for golf, the ocean gives the golf a special caracter and puts you to the test. On a windy day the golf of Biarritz is very difficult. If you like to play different kinds of golf courses there are as many as 12 in a 20 km ratio from Biarritz. The golfers of Biarritz claim that this is the area for the birth of the French golf, well the first Golf Course was built as early as 1888.

Both during summer (high season) and winter, you can buy a Cote Basque Golf Pass, that give you a better green-fee rate at some of the golf couses.
